THE LAST OF THE GREATS is the latest in a long line of "What if Superman
went bad....?" stories, and it is certainly one of the worst I've had
the misfortune to read. The Writing is bland and predictable, the art is
childish, and the plot, such as it is, is inane and ugly and pointless.
To make matters worse, there's the threat of a Volume 2 on the
horizon.........Avoid at all costs. If you really need to find out what
it would be like if Superman went bad, read IRREDEEMABLE, A GOD
SOMEWHERE, or Alan Moore's MIRACLEMAN. Don't waste your money on this
junk.
